Hepatitis Clinic was established in THQ Hospital Liaquat Pur under the Hepaptitis Control Program for the prevention aswell as treatment of Hepatitis B & C. - Screening of all patients referred by OPDs of the hospital
- Registeration of all patients visitng Hepatitis clinic
- Collectionof PCR samples of positive cases and dispatch to central lab, HCP
- Counselling on prevention of Hepatitis for all suspects having negative result
- Hepatitis vaccination of all suspects having negative results
- Prioritaztion of patients for treatment based according to standarized guidelines and referral if necessary
- Preparation of Patient list in waiting list, if any
- Rendering of Hepatitis vaccine to close family contacts of all Hepatits B & C patients
- Follow up of all patients receiving treatment
- Patient and attendents counselling and awareness
